Dureung Ancestral House is a Hanok(Korean style house) built in 1890 by Dureung Jeong Wondal, who is a descendant of Seongmungong Branch of the Dongnae Jeong Clan.

The house lies in the land of the Maebongsan Mountain to the southeast direction, where is sunny and windy spot. The house site is considered as perfect natural environment.
Behind the Historic House, there is clear streams flowing and never drying well in the backyard.

Through a fence and a 250 years old verdant tree, there comes a spacious and elegant Historic House in the sight with fine green courtyard.

Bonchae(main building) is square shaped structure commonly found in Historic House. Sarangchae is shaped as "wing" with side to side protrusion.
